As you may already know, dreams are sometimes a great escape from physical reality.
* Year 2007 updates:
Gaining control of your dreams isn't always the best path. Sometimes it's just fun to lose control in a dream and just let it guide you. Who knows... maybe some spirits will communicate with you through your inner mind while Your physical body sleep. But by writing down your dreams you will find answers because it will show your mind that You care and it should focus on understanding the symbols that come to you during sleep. Then one day you can control your imagination or dream world when you want and evil gain awareness of your Spirit / Soul if You wish.

Some science about dreams

Many "dream scientist" consider dreams a place where your subconscious mind and unconscious mind express themselves. Sure, there are some biological and biochemical effects in the human brain but few people understand how it works. Unfortunately, scientists are relying on computers to understand dreams instead of using their own minds while they dream. Dreams work through easy symbols (they are easy if you use intuition to interpret them). You can interpret dreams accurately through logic or cold mathematics. You have to use intuition and harmony.

Waking up in a dream (lucid dreaming)

Lucid dreaming is the ability to "wake up" in a dream. Waking up in a dream gives you the same sense that you feel as you walk on planet earth. Lucid dreaming is not for everyone. At times, it's healthy to just let your mind take you where it thinks you need to be (in your dreams). Your mind has a mind of it's own in dreams. Some people would like to experience lucid dreaming because of the great opportunity do to anything you want while dreaming. As you know, if you are dreaming, and you control everything in it, you can do whatever you want without any consequences.

Most people have experienced lucid dreaming by accident but very few people can actually do it whenever they want. A dream does happen in your mind so it, and everything in it, is yours and belongs to you.

How to lucid dream and wake up in dreams

Your dream is your property. Most dreams are tools that your mind, brain and spirit uses to share wisdom with you. It's okay to lucid dream but not okay to consider your conscious mind superior to natures way of giving you random dreams that you can not and probably should not control. Lucid dreaming is okay sometimes but not all of the time. Anyways, here are a few tips that will help you remember your dreams. By remembering your dreams you will care enough about them to understand them& eventually have the ability to lucid dream.

1. Remind yourself to remember your dreams a few minutes before you go to sleep and concentrate. You may want to talk to yourself out loud to let your mind know that its important to you.

2. Do something unusual to your brain know that you are serious about wanting to remember. This can be anything from doing a few jumping jacks or squeezing your hand (anything weird will do fine). You can tap your bed a few times or tap your forehead.

3. Have a dream diary next to your bed so you can write down what you dream about as soon as you wake up. This will help you remember more and more of your dreams. People have 5 (at least) dreams a day. Most people only remember 1 or 2 per night. By writing your dreams down you'll notice how you recall other dreams and hints that come to you in dreams.

4. Know that its Your dream...YOUR DREAM. At times your memories will be activated by your subconscious mind other times by you "life energy (spirit).

5. know that dreams are part of who we all are. They can be very helpful and assist you if you allow them to. A dream speaks to you its up to you weather or not you will Listen. It's usually best to listen.

6. Make dreams a important part of your life. Respect your mind and your dream world.

7. make sure to understand the difference between lucid dreaming and astral projection. Astral projection is the ability to take your spirit out of your body and travel in a different dimension. See the astral projection section on the main page for more information on the subject.
